To achieve this, we have solved a great many problems in the understanding of content and context of knowledge within documents and as expressed by people's goals and workflow needs while performing research. We are expert at natural language understanding, knowledge representation, recommendation, and reasoning technologies.

Leadership Team

Peter L. Gabel is President of Arity Corporation. His passion for semantic technologies and algorithms has kept Arity on the leading edge of the industry and has been critical in his formulation of new products. Before founding Arity, Mr. Gabel was the Development Manager for Lotus 1-2-3®. While at Lotus, he established the Advanced Development Group that was spun out to form Arity. Mr. Gabel holds S.M. and S.B. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and studied at the Sloan School of Management.

James B. Greene has been with Arity since 1987 and is currently Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for managing the development of the Arity Software and its interfaces. Jim was instrumental in the design and implementation of Arity’s flowchart visualization, linguistic applications, and scientific investigation software. Jim’s B.A. (with honors) is from Brandeis University.

Pamela Schaepe, Director of Knowledge Systems, is responsible for the problem solving strategies reflected in Arity’s software. She oversees the end-user experience and collaboration models expressed in the software. Ms. Schaepe has a B.A. from American University and an MA from the University of Wisconsin.
